Director’s Q&A:

We will release the full schedule of the director's Q&A on-site. Please be aware that the Q&A format is recorded in video or is delivered in person, and is subject to changes. We’ve prepared the questions in advance for the directors.

Cultural activities are free to the public: 

  • 22nd Feb Saturday morning: Guided lakeside walk

  • 23rd Feb Sunday 9 am-3 pm: MINT CFF X HelloArt Asian Arts & Craft Market at Keswick Market Square

  • Chinese New Year celebration events feature a traditional Chinese New Year dragon dance and a special Chinese orchestra performance on Sunday morning. Keswick Museum’s community gallery will feature an exhibition about Chinese New Year, and the attraction will also host Chinese crafting activities on Wednesday February 19 and Saturday, February 22. The time of these activities organised by the local community is still pending. Please arrive at the festival venue to learn more about these events.

  • All festival programmes, including screenings, the gala, and a workshop, are held at our main venue, Keswick Alhambra Cinema, 36 St John's Street, Keswick CA12 5AG

    Asian Market, cultural events, and outdoor activities will take place across various art and cultural venues in Keswick, which is within walking distance of the cinema.

  • Yes. You do need to pre-book a seat for your chosen films/events/programmes at the cinema website after purchasing a festival pass.

  • Please subscribe to our website to learn when and how to book your seats after purchasing the festival pass. Festival pass holders can start to reserve seats around Feb 1st.

  • The festival pass is associated with your name and can be only used by the pass holder. You need to show the digital pass when you enter the screening hall.

    One pass for one person only. your accompany is welcome to get their own festival pass.

  • Festival pass gives you priority and access to book a seat for any MINT CFF films/events/programmes you want to attend. We encourage pass holders to reserve a seat early on before the general film tickets are onsale.

  • We wish that we could have provided you with free accommodation with the pass but we’re so sorry that the answer is a No. Accommodation and travelling info can be found here. We are building on a list of recommended accommodations and hope to secure exclusive deals for you!

    We recommend that pass holders add our WeChat assistant(ID: MintCFF)to connect with each other at our official festival community to arrange your group trip earlier .

  • Can I return the festival pass if I cannot make it to the event?

    Unfortunately, we do not operate refunds unless the festival is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. However, you are more than welcome to transfer your pass to your relative, partner or close friend. Please email us with your request at alhambracinema@gmail.com at least 5 days before the festival starts.

    For other individual film/event ticket purchases, please refer to the refund policy of the cinema here . Please contact alhambracinema@gmail.com as soon as possible to explain the circumstances. With enough notice, they are nearly always able to swap your booking so you can use your funds for another screening.
