Director’s bio

Joy Xing is an 18-year-old director, cinematographer and photographer from Markham, ON, Canada. Her recent films tell the stories of Asian immigration in Canada - of resilience and discovery. Over the past few years, she has joined in collaboration with organizations such as the Malala Fund and UNICEF, internationally showcasing her film and photographic work.
